Well, it’s that time of year again as we head into the new school year! It’s a great time for you to start preparing your child for the upcoming NYC gifted and talented test with NNAT practice questions. What is the NNAT-2 test? Well, according to Wikipedia:
- The Naglieri Nonverbal Ability Test (NNAT) is a nonverbal measure of general ability. There are three versions of this test, designed by Jack A. Naglieri and published by Pearson Education. Like all nonverbal ability tests, the NNAT is intended to assess cognitive ability independently of linguistic and cultural background.
To get you started, here’s a fun NNAT-2 sample question for Kindergarten from Testing Mom (the site with 100 free questions).
Parent: Say, “Look at the design on the top left. When the pieces that are outside the design are folded in, it looks like the design on the top right. Now look at the design on the bottom left. When you fold the pieces in the same way they did on top, what will it look like? Can you point to the design that shows what it will look like when the pieces are folded in the answer row below?”
